High performance cable cutters for cutting stainless steel brake and gear cables on bicycles, cars or motorcycles.

The cutting edges of the Bowden cable cutters from Knipex have two key qualities: their shape and the additional induction hardening. The cutting edges are shaped like sickles. When the handles are pressed together, they enclose the material almost completely in a circular shape. Enclosed in this way, the Bowden cable is cut from the outside inwards, without any fanning. The hardening of the cutting edges with induction ensures the particularly long tool life.

Thanks to the opening spring the user saves one hand movement during each cutting operation. This noticeably reduces work in the long term. Those who frequently cut Bowden cables and soft wire ropes will quickly appreciate this useful feature. The Bowden cable cutters with integrated pawl prevents inadvertent opening during transport.
